4Lah Folayan becomes the GM of YES 101.7 FM

 


A renowned broadcaster, Folaranmi Folayan AKA 'the Favored woman'  announced that she has been appointed as the General Manager of YES FM 101.7 , a newly established but yet to commence transmission radio station in Ibadan. She revealed the news on her LinkedIn handle minutes ago.

“I’m thrilled to announce that I have joined 101.7 YES FM Ibadan as General Manager. I started my radio journey in Ibadan many years ago so this feels like fate and destiny to me. I'm very excited and looking forward to working with the amazing team we've put together over the last few weeks. I'm very grateful for the love and support of my friends and colleagues here and I'm looking forward to more partnerships and collaborations.” she wrote.

Folaranmi Folayan is a seasoned broadcaster, public speaker, media influencer and entrepreneur.


She's passionate about the media industry and with over 12 years practical experience working as a broadcast journalist on radio and television, she founded the Broadcast Radio Master Class (BRMC) to provide media training and capacity building for young graduates.


She has also worked as the senior editor at NewsWireNGR, radio host at Nigeria Info and TV presenter at News Central TV. Before then, she served as head of digital media at SMOOTH 98.1 FM Lagos.
