CEO Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) To Discuss Build-Up To Digital Migration At Broadcasters’ Convention In Nigeria
Across Africa, the transition from analogue to digital television broadcasting has been a long haul experience met with immense challenges such as financing, funding and policy frameworks. However, in the case of Ghana, the build-up to digital broadcasting was met with a high drive to recognise the prospects that come with digital migration, such as services and the utilisation of efficient bandwidth and how to successfully reach the ITU set goals for digital broadcasting.
Indeed, digital migration is crucial for social and economic development and the 2022 “Broadcasting And Digital Media Convention – Nigeria” will convene industry minds to help unlock the critical broadcasting hurdles by providing a platform for exchanging ideas with industry role players.
Participants to this Industry Convention will join the CEO/Director-General of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Professor Amin Alhassan, to discuss Ghana’s lessons and experiences on securing their Digital Migration.
Broadcast Media Africa (BMA), in collaboration with Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON), is convening this key industry summit from Tuesday, 22 March to Thursday, 24 March 2022 in Abuja, Nigeria.
