Responsibilities
- News/show anchoring
- Host regularly scheduled sport news, oriented interviews and programs and participate in live, online events and special appearances
- Report news for internal and external daily air shift, producing written stories, spots and features for sport news and public affairs programming as needed
- Compose and edit sport news stories
- Well groomed, plus understanding of News Editorial, Content and Current Affairs.
- Meet with the producer, reporters and other anchors to be briefed on the day’s news
- Interview guests and other members involved in particular stories
- Keep abreast of news developments and stay in contact with industry professionals
Qualifications/ Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in communication /Journalism/ Public Relations or any other relevant field.
- A Minimum of four years’ experience in sports television journalism
- Screen presence and on-air charisma.
- Ability to handle live situations.
- Good knowledge of current affairs, business or politics.
- Good Appearance
- Active social media presence
- Excellent oral articulation
- Organizational skills
